Welcome To Emotional Healing


Emotions are always with us and play a major part in our lives. We can be over emotional or suppress them, they can be deep seated or boiling just beneath the surface. At times they can be very hard to deal with.
Whether you openly vent anger, hide tears behind closed doors, deny feelings of love for someone or are delirious with happiness they are all emotions I’m sure most of us have felt at one time or another.
Emotions are healthy provided they are dealt with in a way that does no harm to others. Emotions are hard to control at times, or being considered inappropriate behaviour. At other times we may be afraid to express what we are feeling as we may be afraid of rejection or being made a fool of.
We should feel comfortable with how we feel and be able to express our emotions freely in a considerate and respectful manner. When we are angry as long as we express our anger without harming anyone or anything else then do so, holding onto anger and resentment is dangerous to our health and wellbeing. Talking to someone about how you feel is a good way of release.

Happiness and joy are wonderful emotions to feel, but realistically we don’t feel this way all of the time.
Depression is an emotion that doesn’t feel good and sometimes we may not know why we are feeling so low. There are professionals available to speak to. I recommend Beyond Blue if your depression is out of your control or you feel suicidal. Never feel embarrassed to seek help, you are worth it. It takes great courage and strength to ask for help. Remember that things will always get better, even if it feels like they won’t at the time.

Without integrating meditation into my daily routine I would find it difficult to function happily. My yoga practice is also benificial for my wellbeing, toning and healing of my body.
